Couple of hours in and we stopped to refuel in Lydd. Lovely ladies at ‘Brew at 32’ provided us with plenty of tea, good food and great hospitality.. along with the offer of cycle maintenance too

More rain and a bit of single track off roading to soak us again !

Eventually the rain stopped and the sun emerged every now and again!

A steep climb out of Folkstone was rewarded with views back across the coast, a short while later we were at the Battle of Britain memorial.

From there, a fast down hill over the white cliffs and down to the finish line
